Details
The Vasyli Hoke Supination Orthotic is designed for the more complex and biomechanically Pes Cavus foot types. It is designed for patients who compensate with too much supination as they walk. The foot that is excessively supinated transmits shock to ankle, knee and hip. It also lacks the mobility to adapt to uneven surface.
The Vasyli Hoke Orthotic is designed to address the foot pathologies created as a result of excess supination.
To address foot pathologies such as:
1) Plantarflexed 1st Ray – Forefoot equinus in the SAGITTAL Plane resulting min premature loading of the forefoot.
2) Forefoot Valgus + PF 1st Ray - in the FRONTAL plane.
3) Forefoot adductus in the TRANSVERSE plane increasing prominence of the base of the 5th ray.
The Vasyli Hoke has integral design features to address each of these anatomical considerations.
*A pair of 8mm heel raises (included) can be used to offset an equinus condition.
