The podofix active glue-on brace is a nail correction brace that is glued on the nail surface without tension and then activated to the desired tension using the integrated wire.
The technology of podofix guarantees the therapist the best treatment results for all nails.
As there is no risk of injury, this type of brace is also suitable for high-risk or anxious patients, and e.g. patients with diabetes.
Podofix is also a preferred treatment option for children.
Gentle but effective
Podofix is glued onto the ingrown toenail or curled nail without tension.
The incorporated wire is activated and pulls the nail edges slightly out of the nail fold.
Thus, ingrown toenails as well as strongly curled toenails can be treated particularly gently and effectively.
The podofix brace helps the toenail to grow healthily.
Treatment of the ingrown nail with the podofix brace does not interfere with the patient`s everyday life.
How it works
The podofix brace consists of an elastic plastic pad, which is glued onto the nail and an activation wire, which tensions the brace after it is glued on.
After application, the wire lies in the recess of the plastic pad and can be sealed smoothly.
