Dual density tissue stress relief orthotic.
The Vasyli McPoil Orthotic incorporates intrinsic features based on the McPoil Hunt Theory of Tissue Stress. The orthotic has a softer density overlay material to allow for the `normal` amount of pronation, while preventing over or excess pronation with a higher density orthotic shell.
Features:
- 6 degree intrinsic medial rearfoot post
- 5mm PU overlay
- Hi friction, co-efficient top cloth
- Hi profile medial arch contour
- Mid density heat mouldable EVA
- Vented PU forefoot
- 1st ray plantar flexor
- Heel shock attenuator
The tissue stress relief concept is successful in the treatment of common conditions associated with over pronation such as:
- Anterior Knee Pain
- Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome
- Posterior Tibialis Tendinopathy
- Chronic Plantar Heel Pain: (Plantar Fasciitis & Fasciosis)
- General Arch Pain
- Mid-Tarsal Joint Pain
Specification:
- 6 degree rearfoot correction
- Heat mouldable EVA shell
