Bupivacaine (Markcaine) 0.5% 10ml ampoule
Indications
Used to provide anaesthesia by injection through the patient having digital and ankle nerve blocks.
Actions
Duration is 2-8 hours.
Applications
Administered prior to Nail surgery, VP needling, Podiatric surgery to provide anaesthesia.
Alternative to the use of Mepivacaine (Scandonest)
Use By
HCPC registered Podiatrists with the POM-A anecdote.
