At Canonbury, we’re all making important changes to reduce our impact on the planet. We know we’re not perfect, but we’re serious about making positive change. From our products and packaging, to how we work with suppliers and partners, we’re all doing our bit to help.
Warehouse
Switching to new paper packing tape, reusing boxes sent from suppliers and where possible, using eco friendly courier options, are all small, but important changes our warehouse team are taking to protect our planet.
Marketing
A move towards Digital Marketing has allowed us to reduce the number of physical brochures and catalogues we print and mail. All remaining printed brochures are now printed on FSC certified paper (Forest Stewardship Council), ensuring all wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Business Development Managers
By spending less ‘time on the road’ our Business Development Managers now offer many of their appointments online via video conference call. This not only provides practitioners with more flexible appointment options, but also helps the team reduce their impact on the environment.
Purchasing
Purchasing in larger quantities, less frequently means cutting down the number of deliveries we receive, helping to reduce our Co2 impact. The Canonbury Purchasing team are also continuously on the search for biodegradable and eco friendly alternatives to add to our ever growing range.
Finance
The Canonbury Finance Department have recently made the move to paperless invoicing, reducing our consumption of paper, printing and emissions. Not only is this a great move to protect our planet, but also allows you to access your invoices anytime and anywhere, with just a single click on your emails.
Training and Education
The Canonbury Training & Education Department are proud to host the majority of events online through webinars and video conferences rather than set, physical locations. Service Department
The In-house Canonbury Service and Repair Centre offers first class servicing and repairs for many types of podiatry equipment. The use of genuine parts helps to ensure the lifespan of your equipment, saving you both time and money, and reduces the need to purchase new. Over the past 30 Years, Canonbury has continually strived to reduce its direct and indirect impact on the environment. This year, in addition to introducing a number of more environmentally friendly products, Canonbury will be developing its own Carbon Reduction Plan which will be published on its website and updated annually.
